I grew up in Warwickshire, a county rich in folklore, mythology and gruesome tales. I spent my childhood exploring medieval castle dungeons, scrambling through ancient wooden groves and sitting in the sun atop haunted long barrows. It’s not surprising really that as an adult I still love a good ghost story every now and then.
Archaeology, folklore and myth have been life long passions of mine and writing is a way for me to combine those great loves and hopefully weave new stories.
In my free time I read mostly historical fiction and non-fiction as well as steampunk, sci-fi, crime fiction and historical fantasy. I currently live in London with my cats and an extensive, some might say obsessive collection of knitting yarn.
